The Sackville Kinsmen playground is directly adjacent to one of the most popular splash pads in the city. With the refreshed look and new design, it blends in nicely to the fun atmosphere and makes it a wonderful destination playground for residents all around the HRM.

This fall has seen several new playgrounds popping up around the city. I swung by one that recently opened in Clayton Park West last month and have all the details and photos of this new structure.
This wasn’t the playground we’d planned to go but it ended up being a fun little surprise adventure for us and this playground, while having stood the test of time and clearly well-loved, was still in great shape with lots of fun elements for the kids to enjoy.

Have you ever been out on a walk in the woods and stumbled upon a tiny fairy house or door? We have once or twice and it was such a fun surprise! Some members of a Spryfield forest school took it one step further and created the very first dedicated fairy door trail in the city.
